Family run and operated by The Leon Family, they have been in the restaurant business for a combined 15 years. They come from central Mexico, specifically from the state of Jalisco, where they were surrounded by the delicacy of interior Mexican food. As they worked in different areas of the restaurant business, it wasn’t until the early 2000’s when the family combined their skills and took over an existing restaurant. Their dedication to provide excellent customer service and serving authentic Mexican food drove the Leon family to be a favorite spot for Mexican food in the northeast San Antonioarea.  Every San Antonian should eat at Taco Tex to enjoy exquisite delights and experience being treated like family!
